Sky Sports Formula 1

In 2022, Bigfoot Creative was delighted to be appointed by Sky Sports and Formula 1 to work on the launch of the new F1 season. Working into lead agency SCA (Sky Creative Agency), this chance of a lifetime brief covered the complete broadcast package: title sequence, channel stings, house style, set design and AR.

This massive team effort was a collaboration between Sky Creative Agency, Bigfoot Creative and Coffee & TV. It was an honour for Bigfoot to be assigned to the project, working with a team of committed experts who love what they do.

All 10 F1 team cars were built in 3D along with many of the famous F1 circuits from around the world.

A mixture of live action and VFX helped create an impressive opening sequence for the new F1 season. Each driver was filmed on location at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

The team also designed a set riser for the presenters and guests, which was used in many of the F1 paddocks during broadcast.
